Arrival At Kathmandu

Upon arrival at kathmandu international airport , we will pick you up and check in to the hotel. For the rest of the day you will be at leisure for getting acclimatised and enough rest for the upcoming ride.

Day 2
Explore Kathmandu - 40 Kms (By Car )

Our journey through Kathmandu begins with a deep dive into the city’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage. We'll explore two of the most iconic and revered landmarks in Nepal:

Pashupatinath Temple
A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the holiest Hindu temples in the world, Pashupatinath sits on the sacred banks of the Bagmati River. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and draws devotees from across the globe. Witness ancient rituals, sacred cremation ceremonies, and the vibrant spiritual energy that flows through this powerful site.

Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple)
Perched atop a hill with panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley, Swayambhunath is one of the oldest and most important religious sites in Nepal. A harmonious blend of Hindu and Buddhist symbolism, the stupa is adorned with fluttering prayer flags and the watchful eyes of Buddha. Climb the stone steps, spin the prayer wheels, and take in the peaceful yet mystical atmosphere of this ancient sanctuary.

Day 3
Kathmandu to Bandipur - 150 Kms

Leaving the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu behind, we embark on a scenic 150 km ride to the charming hilltop town of Bandipur. The journey offers a mix of winding mountain roads, terraced hillsides, and sweeping views of the Himalayan foothills.

As we descend from the Kathmandu Valley, the route takes us along the Prithvi Highway, tracing the Trishuli River - a popular spot for rafting and a visual treat for riders. Expect well-paved & Gravel roads with a few twists and turns, small roadside villages, and panoramic views around nearly every bend.Closer to Bandipur, we ride uphill on a short but steep ascent to reach this beautifully preserved Newari town.

Known for its traditional architecture, car-free streets, and breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, Bandipur is a peaceful contrast to the capital — and the perfect place to relax after a rewarding day on the road.

Day 4
Bandipur to Nuwakot - 135 Kms

The ride from Bandipur to Nuwakot covers approximately 135 km and takes around 6–7 hours, depending on road and weather conditions. The journey begins with a descent from Bandipur’s hilltop setting, rejoining the Prithvi Highway before heading eastward. Riders will enjoy a mix of winding mountain roads and stretches through rural countryside, offering scenic views of terraced fields and traditional villages. As we near Nuwakot, the terrain ecomes more undulating, with narrower roads leading to this historic hilltop town. Nuwakot, once a strategic fortress town, welcomes us with its 18th-century palace complex, rustic charm, and panoramic valley views.

Day 5
Nuwakot to Syabrubesi - 90 Kms

The ride from Nuwakot to Syabrubesi covers approximately 90 km along the scenic Pasang Lhamu Highway, weaving through terraced farmland and traditional villages. It takes around 3-4 hours, with smooth tarmac giving way to more rugged stretches as you approach the foothills of the Langtang range. Along the way, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the Trishuli River and lush green valleys framed by distant peaks. Expect a mix of well-maintained highway and narrower rural roads that demand attentive riding, especially around tight bends. Arriving in Syabrubesi (altitude ~2,380 m) brings you to the gateway of Langtang National Park - complete with cozy lodges, tea shops, and Himalayan vibes.

Day 6
Syabrubesi - KYIRONG TOWN (2800M) - 75Kms

After breakfast we will visit Nepal customs & immigration for exit formalities, after that our Chinese Guide will meet us at Kyirong Bodrer, China side. After finished all the custom documents, will drive to Kyirong Town, 40km away from the Border line.

Rest in the afternoon, clients can hike around to acclimatise. Please note, the chinese custom clearance may take few hours to get the clearance done.

Day 7
Ride bike from kyirong town (2800m)- Kyirong County (4200m) - Kongtang Lhamopass(5236m) - OId Tingri (4340m) 300kms.

In the morning, drive upward to the real Plateau of Tibet, on the way you will see one of the higheset pass of over 5000m, then the magnicent Mt. Shixiabangma and blue diamond like Pekutso lake. As well as the Himalaya ranges with snow capped mountains.

Day 8
Old Tingri (4300m) - Gyatsola Pass(5200m) - Sakya(4310m) - Tsola Pass (4500m)- Shigatse (3800m) 300kms

In the Morning after breakfast, drive to Sakya, a very famous monastery and Buddhism sect used to play an important role in Tibet history. On the way, we will pass Gyatsola pass with over 5000m, where there is one of the best points to view Himalayan Rages. Then drive to Shigatse and rest in this Second largest city in Tibet.

Day 9
Shigatse (3800m) - Lhasa (3600 Mtrs ) - 300 Kms

The journey from Shigatse to Lhasa spans approximately 270 kilometers, offering a spectacular blend of high-altitude landscapes, traditional Tibetan villages, and spiritual landmarks. The ride begins in Shigatse, Tibet’s second-largest city and home to the impressive Tashilhunpo Monastery, and gradually heads east toward Lhasa - the spiritual heart of Tibetan Buddhism.

Arriving in Lhasa (3,656 m), you’re welcomed by the majestic sight of the Potala Palace rising above the city, marking the end of a truly unforgettable ride across the roof of the world.

Sightseeing In Lhasa

Attractions; Potala palace, Jokhang temple & bustling Bakhor street. Today we will visit famous Potala Palace, the cardinal landmark of Tibet and the masterpiece of Tibetan architecture. Jokhang temple is one of the most scared
temples in all over Tibet and it is always bustling with earnest local pilgrims since from early days. After that you have time to walk around the Bakhor street which is the one of the most devotional circuit as well as crowded central market of Lhasa.

Day 11
Sightseeing In Lhasa

Attractions; Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastey

Today we will visit famous Drepung Monastery, the biggest monastery in Tibet and used for Dalai lama to study before move to Potala palace. Sera monastery in the afternoon, which is famous for its monk debating. These two
monasteries are most important in Lhasa city for Gulapa sect.

Day 12
Lhasa to Shigatse - 350 Kms

The ride from Lhasa to Shigatse via the stunning Yamdrok Lake is one of the most breathtaking journeys in Tibet, covering around 350 km of high-altitude terrain and dramatic landscapes.Departing from Lhasa (3,656 m), the route climbs over the Kamba La Pass (4,794 m), offering a jaw-dropping panoramic view of Yamdrok Yumtso - one of Tibet's three sacred lakes. With its turquoise waters stretching across the mountain basin, Yamdrok Lake is a photographer’s dream and a spiritual landmark surrounded by snow-capped peaks.

The final stretch to Shigatse (3,840 m) leads through picturesque farming villages and river valleys, ending the day in Tibet’s second-largest city - a place rich with history and Tibetan Buddhist culture.

Shigatse to Shegar - 260 Kms

The ride from Shigatse to Shegar (also known as New Tingri) covers approximately 240 kilometers, taking you deeper into the vast and rugged landscapes of the Tibetan Plateau. Departing from Shigatse, the route follows
the Friendship Highway, passing through remote highlands, wide valleys, and scattered nomadic settlements. .Arriving in Shegar (approx. 4,300 m), you’re at the gateway to Mount Everest Base Camp, with the towering Himalayan range looming in the distance. It’s the ideal stop to acclimatize and prepare for the epic journey to the world’s highest peak.

Day 14
Shegar to Everest Base camp - Old Tingri - 180Kms

The ride from Shegar to Everest Base Camp (EBC) and onward to Old Tingri is one of the most spectacular segments of the Tibet journey, covering around 180 km. The route climbs to Gawu La Pass (5,198 m), offering breathtaking panoramic views of some of the world’s highest peaks, including Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu. From there, the road descends into the remote valleys of Qomolangma National Park, leading to the iconic Rongbuk Monastery near EBC. At 5,200 meters, Everest Base Camp offers an unforgettable view of the North Face of Mount Everest, a true highlight of the entire tour. After taking in this majestic sight, the ride continues along a rugged trail toward Old Tingri, a quiet Himalayan town with expansive mountain vistas. The day’s ride is both challenging and deeply rewarding, combining high-altitude adventure with spiritual awe.

Old Tingri to Gyirong town - 300 Kms

The journey starts with wide open views of the high plateau, flanked by snowcovered peaks including distant glimpses of Shishapangma, the 14th highest mountain in the world. As the road winds westward, riders navigate through mountain passes, pristine valleys, and deep river gorges carved by glacial streams. The terrain becomes greener and more forested as you approach Gyirong, offering a refreshing contrast to the stark landscapes of northern Tibet.Gyirong, often referred to as the "Valley of Happiness," lies near the China-Nepal border and serves as a key gateway between the two countries. This ride is both visually spectacular and culturally enriching - a true highlight near the end of your Tibetan adventure.

Day 16
Gyirong - Kathmandu - 150 Kms

The ride from Gyirong Town to Kathmandu marks the final leg of the journey, filled with dramatic landscapes and cultural transitions. After completing immigration and customs formalities at the China-Nepal border, riders officially exit Tibet and enter Nepal. . Though the distance is only about 150 km, the narrow, bumpy roads and sharp curves make it a challenging 6–7 hour ride.

As you descend, the scenery shifts from alpine terrain to subtropical valleys, passing through remote Himalayan villages. Eventually, the road opens into the busy outskirts of Kathmandu, signaling the end of an unforgettable cross-border adventure. It’s a day of contrasts - from remote mountain silence to the vibrant chaos of the Kathmandu Valley.

Day 17
Departure from Kathmandu

After days of unforgettable riding through majestic landscapes, vibrant cultures, and high Himalayan passes, it's time to bid farewell. Depending on your flight schedule, you'll be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport,
with plenty of time to complete check-in and formalities. As you leave Kathmandu, the memories of winding mountain roads, ancient temples, local encounters, and shared camaraderie with fellow riders will stay with you long after the journey ends.

Nepal Side : Humid & warm weather in the lower altitude of Nepal, pleasant weather in Hilly regions like Kathmandu. Expect some interim rains in the valley.

Tibet : Average daytime temperatures up here on the roof of the world vary from 5°C to 19°C across the country, with Lhasa really earning its reputation as 'the sunlit city'.

Nepali and Tibetan cuisines will be served based on the region we are traveling.
